This project involved the considered transformation of a contemporary residence in Tokyo. Taking cues from the strong architectural language of the city, the design introduces a softer materiality to create a sense of balance throughout.

Clean lines and forms are layered with natural materials, tactile finishes and quieter, more delicate details. The result is a refined yet relaxed home, grounded in simplicity, comfort and a considered response to how the spaces are lived in.
